” Remember that, a pleasant relationship with food, your body and yourself is the fundamental secret for having good health. ”
My objective
I am here to guide and educate each person individually to improve their eating habits according to their medical history, personal goals and dietary preferences, with the long-term goal of preserving this knowledge as part of their daily life for a lifetime.
My Philosophy
I chose the field of Clinical Dietetics mainly because I believe that a balanced diet is fundamental for good health and well-being. The importance of nutrition is now proven and therefore is considered a preventive measure for various health problems such as obesity, heart disease, diabetes and certain types of cancer.
Although there is plenty of information on the internet about nutrition and health that anyone can search and learn, I concluded that it is very difficult to apply and understand this knowledge. This is due to the fact that having a healthy relationship with food is not about how much knowledge you have, but about the capability to listen to your body and its needs while making sure you provide it with what it needs.
Through my services, I aim to empower people to free themselves from food guilt by restoring their relationship with various foods and perceptions by creating a healthy eating pattern that allows them to enjoy each meal by regaining a balance between spirit, body and pleasure.
Developing a healthy relationship with food
Together we are going to rediscover the joy and pleasure that food offers you without guilt, regret and anxiety about your weight, having always in mind your physical and mental health.
Learning to listen to your body.
The body always ''speaks''. So, it is our responsibility to respond to its indications such as hunger, thirst, and satiety which means that you should stop eating.
Eating in moderation and feeling satisfied
Eating in moderation, taking into account your knowledge, what you want and your body’s needs means that you will feel full and that nothing is lacking from your diet.
The difference
We aim to create an inclusive, non-stereotyped safe space where all bodies are welcome, with the health of the person as our main concern and not necessarily the number on the weight scale.
Taking into consideration the individual personal goals of each person which can be
- Losing weight
- the improvement of the medical profile (biochemical analysis) and,
- a balanced diet, along with nutritional guidance and support up to the time that the person reaches the goals we have put together.
Every nutritional plan is custom-made, considering each person’s needs, food preferences, and medical history. The plan is created through discussions between the dietitian and the client. It takes into account factors like work hours, physical activity, cooking skills, and time availability, ensuring a personalized approach to meet individual goals.
